About Samuel Mamootil

DevOps Engineer · Cloud Automation · AWS Data Platforms - Austin, TX

Samuel Mamootil is a DevOps Engineer based in Austin, TX, with 8+ years of professional experience across cloud automation, DevSecOps, data platforms, and multi-cloud delivery.

At Wipro I led a seven-person team building the AWS platform behind Alight Solutions. I set up the Databricks environment and its ingestion on a customer-managed VPC, built an event-driven Redshift analytics pipeline feeding Tableau, and ran the EKS delivery platform, all in Terraform, and traced a climbing bill down to about $70,000 a year in savings.

At IBM, I delivered DevOps and migration work for H&M, Siemens, Nokia, and Südzucker across Azure, AWS, and GCP, including 100+ application migrations, CI/CD design, hardened images, private connectivity, security remediation, and technical documentation.

I completed my Master of Science in Information Systems and Graduate Business Analytics Certificate at the University of Texas at Arlington in May 2026, and built ReRhythm, a generative AI career platform in .NET/C# that parses a resume with Amazon Textract, uses Claude on Amazon Bedrock and a RAG pipeline over ChromaDB to find skill gaps, and generates a 28-day roadmap on ECS Fargate with DynamoDB and VPC-secured Bedrock inference.
