Wipro

Tech Lead - AWS Navi Mumbai, India February 2024 - April 2025

Led a seven-engineer team building the AWS platform behind Alight Solutions: a Databricks lakehouse, an event-driven analytics pipeline, and an EKS delivery platform, all provisioned in Terraform and secured end to end.

What I owned

  • The AWS Databricks platform: customer-managed VPC, private-subnet clusters with Secure Cluster Connectivity, S3 gateway and STS interface endpoints, cross-account control-plane IAM, Unity Catalog external locations, and JSON cluster policies for auto-termination, instance limits, autoscaling caps, and cost tagging
  • An event-driven analytics pipeline from AppFlow, a Glue crawler, and Step Functions through a Python Lambda ELT into Redshift, validated with Athena and cached in Redis for Tableau

What changed

  • Traced a climbing AWS bill to a Lambda re-reading the same S3 object in a loop on every run, fixed it, then right-sized instances and tuned autoscaling for about $70,000 a year in savings
  • Gave the data team a governed lakehouse and gave analysts trusted Redshift and Tableau datasets to build on

IBM

Senior DevOps Engineer Navi Mumbai, India November 2021 - February 2024

Delivered DevOps and migration work across four enterprise clients on three clouds: a 100-plus application move to Azure for H&M, AWS modernization for Siemens, AKS remediation for Nokia, and an Azure-to-GCP migration for Südzucker.

What I owned

  • The H&M end-to-end migration of 100-plus applications to Azure, about eight a month, with the strategy chosen per application and runbooks handed to the app teams
  • Terraform modules and GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps YAML pipelines, plus a Bash script that added CI runner IPs to the Web App firewall during a deploy and removed them afterward

What changed

  • Moved H&M's application estate to Azure on schedule with per-application architecture and security decisions instead of one blanket approach
  • Built a security exposure classification that marked each application by how exposed it was, so the team knew what to lock down before migrating

DevOps Engineer Bengaluru, India April 2018 - November 2021

Built cloud automation, a regulated Azure data platform, and a multi-cloud self-service deployment tool across pharmaceutical, utility, and reinsurance clients at LTIMindtree.

What I owned

  • Parexel Azure infrastructure as code across ARM, Terraform, Bicep, and Azure DevOps YAML for compute, networking, identity, and storage
  • HIPAA-compliant infrastructure for clinical data with encryption in transit and at rest, private networking that kept PHI off the public internet, audit logging, and segregated environments

What changed

  • Gave Parexel a regulated data platform that kept patient data private and auditable while still feeding analytics
  • Turned landing-zone provisioning into a one-click, standardized action for the practice across three clouds
